ChatCPT is the newest form of AI which has caused quite a stir online. It’s no wonder how much fuss it has created, as what it can do in seconds is impressive. 

All you have to do is type in a question in ChatGPT and within seconds you have a response. It’s impressive, and many are exploring all of the possibilities and how they can implement this new AI into their work processes.

What are the benefits?

It’s free. For now at least. The fact that a piece of software as powerful as ChatGPT is free is impressive and not to be shunned. Make the most of it while you can, because at some point this software will have a cost attached to using it. 

The benefit of ChatGPT is how quickly it can create a response to your question. Whether you are looking for a recipe, code for a website, information, or even blog content. It can create it within seconds, which is by far faster than a human. 

The research possibilities are also impressive. If you need statistics or figures to support your content, it can pull it out in seconds. This means you have the data to back up your post or blog without having to spend hours researching. 

What are the cons?

The cons of ChatGPT is simply the lack of mouldability. You have to make sure that what you provide the software is exactly what you are looking for. It’s more like building with bricks than clay. 

You will have to edit what comes out. So while you save time on the initial research and creation phase. But you will still need to edit the content. If you prefer editing this won’t be so much of an issue for you, but if you prefer to work with something it might be a hindrance. 

Make sure you read the response fully. This goes without saying, but blindly accepting the response you get isn’t always the best. For example, the instructions you receive for a recipe may be missing some key details. The AI may assume you know each step to take, but for a novice, it might not be so easy. 

Do you remember the task at school to write instructions for making a cup of tea? How much detail do you need to include to ensure the steps are followed correctly? Think of AI in a similar manner. 

Jasper Chat – what is it?

Jasper Chat is Jasper AI’s version of ChatGPT. It works similarly to ChatGPT, so you have a page that looks like a chat room and type in your question or brief, and out comes the response.

What are the benefits?

The benefit of Jasper Chat is that with your account you also get the blog workflow and other AI functionalities. This means that you swap and choose between the AI functions you want and need, making your options broader. 

Jasper Chat is also just as quick and effective as ChatGPT as they work in a similar way. This makes it easy to switch between the two. 

What are the cons?

Jasper Chat is hidden behind the paywall. You need to have an account with Jasper AI and pay for the account before you can use it. For some, this will be the reason why they won’t use Jasper over other free AI programs. 

In a similar light, you will still need to edit the content that you receive from your response. Depending on how detailed a brief you provide will dictate how much editing you need to do. 

Which AI robot is better for content creation? 

It depends on what you are looking for and how you prefer to work. Jasper AI workflow feels like moulding clay, you provide a brief but can work within the software and write the headings and anything else you wish to write about. You can hit the compose button when you feel stuck for the next part or need a little boost. Jasper AI workflow works with you to create the content. 

ChatGPT and Jasper Chat both work in a similar way. You have to input the brief in a chat bar and it will create a response. This feels more like building bricks, in which you work step by step 

Overall, the one takeaway from any AI software is that reliance on AI to completely create the content you are after could negatively affect your overall skill. Using AI to enhance your offerings allows you to blend the ever-evolving technology with your own skills as a content creator. 

Embracing technology is one thing, allowing it to replace tasks is entirely different. We will all need to bring AI into our lives in some way, but making sure it is working for you and with you will be the key to unlocking its potential.
